Three Remeha Gas 610 Eco Pro Boilers have been installed at Trinity Mirror Plc’s Printing Facility in Watford, Improving the energy efficiency of the media companies heating in keeping with its wider environmetal commitments.
When the existing heating equipment – four 1780 kW boilers together with two 670 kW boilers – began to fail, contractor Martyn Labrum of Labrum Engineering specified replacing them with three high efficiency Remeha Gas 610 Eco Pro condensing boilers supplied with plate heat exchangers to maximise heating efficiencies. He commented:
“Following a two-year survey to ascertain which boiler models are most reliable, we now recommend Remeha products above all other brands due to the consistent high quality and efficiency of all their products.”
As part of the complete heating refurbishment, new pipework was installed, controls were upgraded and an advanced building management system was fitted to enable the fully-modulating Remeha boilers to operate at their optimum efficiency for maximum energy savings. Mr Labrum is confident that the fully-commissioned heating system, with the Remeha Gas 610 Eco Pro boilers at the heart, will deliver energy savings of at least 30 per cent for Trinity Mirror Group.
The Remeha Gas 610 Eco Pro range (output 69kW to 1202kW) delivers exceptional, higher- than-average annual efficiencies of up to 109.6% (NCV) together with excellent ultra low-NOx emissions of ≥36 at 0% O2 and minimum CO2 emissions. The pre-mix burner (NG) with its gas/air ratio control system ensures clean operation and smooth, trouble-free operation. The small footprint of the Remeha Gas 610 Eco Pro and its ability to be installed side-to-side makes it ideal for modular configuration and increased installation design flexibility. Offering both conventional and room-sealed flue system capability, the boiler can be sited almost anywhere within a building.
